Has anyone done this with mods? I'm having some issues T^T

Does this work with mods? I'm in a similar situation with a new PC, I zipped both the Vintagestory folder and the Vintagestory Data folder from %appdata% and brought them over to my new PC. I can see my save has transferred fine but when I open Mod Manager none of my mods are there, but when I open the mods folder all the zipped mods are in there?
Horribly dense fog. Heeelp
