I'm currently also looking into finding a way to lock blacksmithing recipes behind a class trait for a private server. But it seems that there is no simple way currently to patch or mod that kind of functionality in at the moment. I'd very much like to have the option to at least be able to patch the blacksmithing recipe json's the same way we can currently make crafting grid recipes class restricted.
