Ive got the same problem with a buddy of mine who just picked it up. Server is open for people, and mods can be downloaded, but that one person can't seem to ping the server. No response. I'm thinking it's possibly something on their end? What kind of setup does your buddy have @Revengeofthecog? Does he have an Ethernet connection or Wifi, or maybe the router is blocking something?
