We're hosting a long term, modded RP casual server based on hard mode. The main premise of the server is civilization-style immersive gameplay - roleplaying is very welcome, but not mandatory.
Main thing to remember: THIS IS NOT A RACE. Forget about the progression based gameplay [I need to get this, I need to get that, I need to rush metal before others do etc.], and instead think in terms of community. You want metal tools? Why not fish up a few rusty gears and visit the nearest blacksmith. Need food? Grab some spears, hunt a few piglets and trade the leather you got for some. Get rid of the "single player multiplayer" mindset - you don't have to do and unlock everything yourself, work with others and don't rush. We welcome slow, immersive gameplay and people who just wish to live in the game world.
Main Highlists:
- Roleplaying helper mods [voice chat and proximity chat with shout, whisper, /me and such]
- Quality of life mods [you can make sticks out of firewood, repair your tools and armor with heated up copper bits etc.]
- Player shop mod to promote trade between players
- Relaxed, long term enviroment
- Honor based PVP - that is, you can declare wars and fight if you have a valid reason you can prove - killing random people on sight is not allowed.
