The Qino Empire occupies Rustthorp, the old Graenish settlement, and the Earldom lives up in the north-western part of the island. Hello all! We just had a huge development in our server, clans have shifted greatly, and we had a nice recorded battle here. Check it out! (forgive me for the over-exposure, we fought in the middle of the night)

We've just wrapped up our THIRD session of Infaru. Winter is in full swing, the first General Meeting of Clans (commonly called the Althing) was held, and tensions have steadily increased between some of the clans. We've had great luck with player counts so far, getting 12-18 players at a time for every session so far. Our first session was massively successful! We got about 18 players at once on the first day, with some players dropping in and out, and a couple things have happened. The clans have formed, met up, and settled on the spawn island (it's a large island). We have the Graen Clan, the Qino Clan, the Háfrinna Clan, and the Chara Clan so far. We also have Sweetspring Village, a peaceful settlement planning to act as a trade hub to all. While we're here, let's talk about the LORE PRIMER, our very simple lore that adds onto Vintage Story lore and sets the scene for the server. The server is set in the land of Vinfaru, a place inspired by Iceland historically and Iceland + Ireland culturally. We are seraphs, a mysterious human-like species of near immortals which has been appearing all over the world. The group of seraphs which you belong to originally and appeared in the land of Norfaru, a great kingdom which has been ruled since its inception by a Tyrant-King. You all have been banished, drifting at sea for months until the sea currents naturally brought you to Vinfaru. You have nothing but yourselves, welcome to your new home. Vinfaru exists in theory as a single country/polity: the "Commonwealth of Vinfaru". All Vinfaruns have agreed that no longer should they be ruled by tyrants; thus, they have agreed to establish a yearly general meeting at the end of fall where all laws shall be decided and all disputes between different settlements settled. -- Three laws already exist: 1. Don’t kill or hurt others unless they wronged you. 2. Don’t steal from others. 3. Don’t use others lands without permission. -- Customarily, laws are added and removed via the agreement of the local leaders, and disputes involving people within a single community can be resolved by their leader. To add onto this, the first general meeting that will discuss the laws and community, known as the "Althing", will happen sometime during the next session this Friday-Sunday. We've updated our rules and our website in preparation for launch. As a side note, we'd also like to encourage all the joining players to record their experiences, whether it's just an account of what they've experienced, or if it's actual video footage of their gameplay, and send it to us! We plan on compiling a monthly report of all the "roleplay events" that happened on the server so we can keep players up-to-date on what's going on while also increasing our chance of recruiting new players. If you ever wanted to show off your roleplay prowess, this would be the time to do it!

Welcome to Infaru! We are a roleplay experience headed by a team with just over five years of server hosting experience, coming from the Minecraft scene. Our number one goal has always been to simulate the beginnings of society and government. You can reinforce your builds with a plumb and square to mitigate banditry, and the limited server sessions means you can have peace of mind during weekdays that all of your stuff will stay safe.
