Suddenly getting "Multiplayer Hosting Failed" and not sure why

im having the same issue. it started in mid december of 2024. has anyone found out anything yet? -
after i start my single player game and i open it to lan with out a problem but when i go to open it to internet game it says internet game failed after it says no upnp device found. my system is plugged directly into my DSL modem. any suggestions would help immensly. thanks

I'm am getting a new computer and need to move my game and player to it. I made a copy of my world and player from my current system from the appdata folder and copied them to my backup system which I play from on occasions and the only issues I seem to have is my player loads but my backpacks aren't there and the only things I have are in my belt and I have a bed'o'nails mold in my house that shoes up as a big white cube with big red "?" On it. I want to transfer my game to my new system but don't want to lose my inventory and progress. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
