Hi there, I was looking into making a mod that would add an item crafted with temporal gears that would restore stability to a particular region. What I'm trying to figure out is how the world actually handles determining what region is unstable. It doesn't seem to be on a chunk by chunk bases but rather a function of how deep you go; however there are areas on the surface that are unstable (like my friends house which Is why I'm embarking on this endeavor). Does anyone have a good handle on how this data is held or where?
New world on a modded server

Just set up a new world with modified ore spawns at 600k x 600k. 30 day months with almost everything else at default save for the ore spawns which has more copper but rarer and bigger mid to late game ore to encourage specialization like mining towns and trade. Just a casual place to come play we don't have a discord or anything. Modlist is attached.
