New problems?
Completely uninstalled the game, re-installed the game. Tried on 2 different computers. Can't connect to the master server or see the server browser but still can join the hosted server.
Set inbound & Outbound rules to allow everything on VintageStory.exe in the firewall. Also tried turning on and off the firewall. Checked and updated all my drivers.
I can join the hosted server but it's pretty much a constant failed to connect to host message very rarely being able to connect. Game is pretty much unplayable.
My friends still have the original occasional rubberbanding problem but are still able to play on the server just fine.
Checked for ISP outages, I don't see anything unusual. I'm able to play other games just fine with zero lag.
I'm completely scratching my head here. Don't even have a clue as to what it could be. I haven't done any client side changes and the problem has got even worse.
It's gotta be something stupid client side. I may have to contact my ISP?
My internet itself is a little slower than usual but nothing out of the ordinary.
Looked on the forums and everything points to it being a firewall issue when connecting to the master server but that doesn't seem to be the issue either.
I can't even think of another problem it could possibly be? Like what am I suppose to do now, sacrifice a goat? The only clue I have is the problem of not being able to connect to the master server is only happening to myself and roomate who are both in Alaska.
