I am using this PC alot and i doubt i could retrieve anything that way but i rolled some new worlds until i found something that suits me even if not as perfect as the first one. Thank you for your answers

Sadly not. From what i can see after deleting a world from the game menu it doesn't show up in the bin at all but the associated DB files stays in the Maps directory so i hope there's a way to retrieve something.

Hi Sleepy me has deleted the wrong world ! I don't mind losing my progress/building/whatever but i would really love having the world back. Is it possible to extract the seed (or any other information that would allow me to retrieve this particular world) from the DB file stored in the Maps directory ?

Hello New player here, i have started a game in exploration mode, so without temporal storms and passive creatures, in order to learn the basics. After hearing noise around my fort i went on top and saw a tall monster with long spikes on the back roaming around. It doesnt look like any drifter (i have killed some) or anything else i can find on the wiki and seems to run away each time it sees me. What is this thing ? Is it dangerous ?
