mod is not automatically downloading from servers on 1.16.1.

Do you know of a way to force a server wide character select? I really like these extra class mods but trying to implement them on an existing server is really messy. Would be killer if you could somehow add an admin command that once entered forces everyone to reselect their class / appearance on the next login.  The current system for doing this requires both the admin and affected character to be connected at the same time. Okay for small groups of people but if this wipes out a class that someone previously chose and there is no admin around that person is frustrated and out of luck.

Anyone else experiencing this in the 1.16 version? 

Certain components, Brood Box, Super, Base, etc... Can be crafted but cannot occupy a slot in your inventory forcing you to throw them on the ground and can never be picked up.

Other things like the frames are okay..

Am I doing something wrong? Even when I admin in a completed brood box it cant be placed or used in any way.

Updated Mods List and added some new screenshots, our Survival Town is looking quite nice and we have a few Creative Projects in the works.

@Ardele this has been rectified, Th3essentials was briefly broken with the newest release.

 

Awesome! this was one of the things holding my server back from appealing to a wider audience. Its so difficult to get people to manually install mods.

@JarielEledan I'm not familiar with g portal servers but I would imagine the process is the same as running on your own hardware. I've used some services in the past that give you less control over the hardware forcing you into using whatever their interface allows. If this is the case then I'm not sure.

This doesnt seem to be working for me. it downloads the correct mods but then every time you try to join, it downloads the new versions again and the client can never connect. if you manually remove the older mods all is well and the client is able to join.

Crash on server startup here as well.

if you install 1.16 rc6 the corresponding server will also start up as 1.16 on that computer.

We are now bringing that same passion and dedication to the world of Vintage Story.  While we have been playing Vintage Story on various private and public servers for some time we felt that with everything version 1.16 has to offer, it was time to create our own dedicated server. 

          The goal for this server is to explore all of the newest features that this In-depth survival experience has to offer.  This means that we will be striving to implement the newest version of the game and pioneering / developing mods to keep the game fresh.  In the past our servers have been run on paid for hosting space or run on our personal computers. This is no longer the case as we now own our own dedicated hardware to ensure more uptime, less headaches, and less overhead!

Just Search "Reforged" in the public games list, if you are running 1.16 client everything should download automatically.
