  1. I had no idea the there were Eclipses in the game! I'm riding along my elk; heading towards a Cassiterite reading. While I'm crossing the open plains. I notice that it is getting darker...at 8 in the morning. I honestly kind of panic for a moment and then thats when my gaze drifts towards the sky and I saw this: Honestly one of the best moments in the game for me! I love how the game also makes me connect with real life, I mean I can totally now understand why people used to think that this was the work of the gods! 200+ hours and I'm still discovering new things! Amazing
  2. Thank you! I wish I would've taken a photo showing the front of house and back of it! Thanks again!
  3. As year 2 comes to a close and the cold winter air keeps me in. I've reflected on my trails, tribulations, and builds throughout the year. In my last post I had outlined some basic goals to reach. Goals like mechanized power, alcohol production, and a greater yielding farm. To say that I've smashed the goals through the ceiling is an understatement. The farm is divided into 6 sections. with the main central plot being utilized for fruit trees and most of the main crops. With the outer sections only containing berry bushes. So far, my flax field gains are more than I'll ever see at the gym. Now that the farms been taken care of next is... Well of course my inner brewmaster is what is next! after hastily constructing a distillery, I began experimenting with all sorts of fruits. From ciders to brandy's, I tried them all. However as pictured above. I think the mead is the best by far. One drink had this Drifter slumped at the table. Then once my lust to be an in-game alcoholic faded. I moved to the biggest project of all. Mechanized power. And just as winter began to blanket the land, The hammers of my forge could be heard all around. Dual helve hammers baby. And just before I begin the next chapter of my adventure, I'd like to share some final images I thought were neat or cool. Welp that's about it for now! Until my next post, don't become wolf bait and Merry Christmas!
  4. Since my last post, the howling winter has concluded, and now Spring flowers blossom and that beautiful sun shines on. During my "hibernation" I made multiple strides. From gently expanding my farm, to establishing myself firmly in the Bronze Age! I've made improvements to the main cabin and have changed the old shelter to a storage room. My pit kiln and forge have seen minor to little improvements, along with the "Char Pit". My goal this year is to advance to the Iron Age, get bees, and get drunk on berry mead. Oh, and windmill will be cool too! (Those two-tone skies are just something else ) Until my next update, stay safe from the wolves!

  5. Staying cozy during the long cold winter nights and mornings.
  6. As I come to the end December, I decided to reflect on my journey through Gaia (my world). Upon awakening in a lush forest, the smell of the salty beach drew me in, and along the edge of the bustling forest did I establish my shelter; and little would I know soon to be my home. The spring and summer flew by like my spear heading for an unknowing boar. During said time I slowly built and expanded my 3x3 cob hobble into a true home. I braved the wilds in search of grain, berries, and meat; to which it was very plentiful! As fall and the unforgivable winter approached, I knew I had to expand my tool selection. Before I knew it, I had left the stone age behind and with welcoming arms, I embraced the copper age. With my food stores bountiful and my shelter renovated into an amazing home. I braced for winter. Now that I'm halfway through, and spring will soon be on the horizon. I'm now ready to get my equipment to the next age... off to brave and conquer the wilds, for Cassiterite beckons my arrival! (In all seriousness I'm loving this game, I cannot wait for the snow to end and the shine to rise!)
  7. Just at the title says, I've only recently got into the copper age in my newest world, my few first attempts didn't go well, and I was having a difficult time. However I buckled my seat belt and locked in on my new world. I have a lovely shelter, a very small farm, and now copper tools. I really love the meal making mechanics and the forging mechanics! Only 9 days in but I cannot wait to see what awaits me!
