  1. I was just thinking about this as well with the addition of the new pottery variants! I feel like glazing could fit really well into the mechanics of the game! Grinding and mixing minerals and metal oxides is something that already exists within the game and then it makes perfect sense to require the pottery to fired again. And the outcome could be a variety of colors that are all naturally achievable. I would love to see this kind of system come to the game eventually!
  2. Appreciate all the kind answers! Especially Maelstrom for doing that research, that makes sense and I kind of figured there was probably some kind of historical reason since this game is so detailed. Thanks so much for all your responses! I've tracked down a "very high" deposit of casserite so hopefully I'll be into the bronze era soon!
  3. Hi! This is not a complaint but more of a curiosity on my part. I'm pretty new to this game, I've watched some tutorials and stuff, but I definitely don't know everything. I'm currently in the copper stage and I've been trying to advance to bronze. Knowing there are a few different alloys in the game I went out with the prospecting pick to find what was around, and I found ultra high sphalerite. I saw this could be used for brass, which I probably mistakenly thought was equivalent to bronze, so I thought that would be perfect to make a brass anvil. I was able to get up to the 900 units needed but then quickly realized when I went to pour it that there is no brass anvil? I then went to pour other tools at least but couldn't do that either. I probably could have more carefully checked the handbook beforehand to realize this, but I was kind of just wondering why? Is this just a game thing or is there some real life reason (is bronze more sturdy than brass?). There also seems to be limited uses for brass in the game from what I could tell checking the handbook. It seems to be limited to lanterns and plaques basically. Appreciate any help with this question! In the meantime I will be searching for cassiterite
