I think consuming alcohol should restore sanity (scaling the amount restored with intoxicity). It would have fun lore implications and may affect player societies in interesting ways, such as an extra long underground expedition but would need alcohol stockpiled/delivered, or returning after a particularly insane adventure and needing to go to the inn to "calm" the mind.
It would also be nice to just add a minor mechanic to consuming alcohol along side the RP. What do you think?
