  1. I think renting a server is the best option then. From what I have read it should be possible to use the singleplayer data for the server. I hope that won't be too difficult.
  2. Hello, I need some advice. I have been playing VS in singleplayer for some time. Now I started my first run together with my boyfriend via LAN. It worked ok, but has some drawbacks, e.g. him disconnecting quite often. Since we both enjoyed it alot so far we think about switching to a paid server. I have no experience with a multiplayer server though. Do you have any recommendations which one to pick or which criteria are important? The next big question is: can I transfer the singleplayer world and our characters to the multiplayer server? We would not want to loose the progress, if possible. And is there a noob friendly manual how to do it? Thank you very much
  3. I have the same issue. I have been playing for over two years and explored a large region in every direction only to find andesite everywhere. I stumbled across my first translocator and it led me to a place where it is just granite and basalt in every direction. Also no chalk or borax yet... ( I have not found enough sea shells for even one barrel of limewater yet either.) It is not a survival necessity to find limestone, but it greatly limits my playthrough. Not only do I not have leather, I can also not make a lot of building blocks due to the lack of mortar. I did not know about rock generation when I started this world. But in the future I would skip a lot of seeds that do not show limestone in the spawn area. And I find that rather sad. Something a little bit easier to get to start this production chain would be a good idea in my opinion.
