  1. I have tried this now, and unfortunately the server stops responding before I am able to enter any commands. I can enter commands into the server console at least until the particular chunk is loaded. After the chunk is loaded the server hangs and does nothing until I shut it down.

  2. 11 minutes ago, Streetwind said:

Can you identify the corrupted chunk? There are ways to regenerate it from scratch, discarding all existing data in the process.

Well, it's the chunk I'm in when I load the world. I don't know how to identify it more specifically than that.

  3. Server starts up fine, but when a particular chunk is loaded it stops sending data to the connected clients and the server stops responding.

I followed the steps for fixing a corrupted chunk here: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/index.php?title=Repairing_a_corrupt_savegame_or_worldmap&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop
which gives me a file called repaired.vcdbs and which I assume I should rename to replace my existing world save file -- doing so has not solved the issue. Roughly nine times out of ten when connecting to the server the client stops responding before the world loads. Occasionally, I'm able to load in and move around for a second or two before I get a "Host not responding" error in the top right of the client. This happens even when I load the world in single player. There are no errors in the log. It just stops.

This is my world save: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tfmFfSARLrTLWNiFiBMWiEXcelAKKETi/view?usp=sharing

I don't suppose there's much that can be done, but if anyone can fix it somehow that'd be cool...

edit: Opened up the world save in DB4S and deleted my player data so I could respawn at the world spawn. Navigated to the affected chunk and discovered the fault was not with the whole chunk, but just one area inside. I think the culprit was a trunk (double chest), because looking at it caused the client to crash. I world edited that away and everything seems to be good now.

  4. Client crashes when attempting to put a Copper Ingot on an Anvil on xskills v0.6.6 and v0.6.7

edit: appears to be a conflict with this mod ( https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/1910 )
