I feel like I have seen a mod involving VR at one point, but I cannot find it so sadly I have no information for you on that front.
I know there have been a thread of two like this one where it has been suggested and gotten reception from people agreeing they would like it, and supposedly VR support was in some way on the Roadmap, but if true it is not there anymore.
All that said, I would be surprised if no one at all has at least taken a stab at it, and I am sure someone managed to get it to at least sort of work with a level of jank.
