  1. Hello, linux user here :) I installed this version but using installation method from this topic (until now it always worked)

and when I'm clicking on the game icon to start it nothing is happening. Do you maybe have some idea on how to fix it?

  2. @sed1917 I'm playing on linux on newest version of the game with low graphic settings so not sure if my situation will be equivalent in your case but here is my current list of mods:

Alloy calculator, ancient tools, better ruins, black iron, bricklayers, bullseye, cats, ceramos, seraph voices, composter, expanded matter, horses, fix handbook clutter, fox taming, from golden combs, glassmaking, hide and fabric, human like skintones, instruments, just more ruins, labeled containers, meteoric expansion, more animals, mortal damage, necessaries,  pet ai, place against wall, place every item, pot on the shelf, primitive survival, rackable firestarter, signals, sticks from firewood, the critters package, vanilla variants, vs move mod, wildcraft, wolftaming, wood barrels, wood chests, blood, zeekea.

I don't remember which ones exactly I removed before because with change of version of the game I generated new world and changed part of the mods using only updated ones in newest version.

  3. Well tried it on debian and this is the result:

Not sure what to do about it xD
It is even worse - after changing it back in the activator to mono Vintagestory.exe I still get the same error in return :/ Any idea how to repair it?
    EDIT
Fortunately restart of PC was enough to help but it was kinda scary xD Anyway would still like to know why this was the result and what to do to change it.

  4. I have the same situation, tried creating new world - nothing changed. Game is basically unplayable, can't pick berries, can't do anything. Were you able to resolve your issue? Oh and I'm using latest 1.17 version btw with low graphic settings so not sure what else can optimize and also have 16GB RAM.

Ok, after some checking narrowed it down to two mods, which are probably responsible, after disabling them so far no more incidents, but I will not delete post in case this it not the end xD

  5. I'm not sure how much the animals behavior in game is supposed to reflect behavior of real animals but generally most of animals will flee from human and attack only when sick or being attacked or provoked by us first. This is why I always play with setting "passive" because default setting makes animals in game act like they have rabies and this is ureasonable. We have monsters in game so imho we don't need animals also acting like monsters xD

  6. I recently also have issues with performance on linux, game is using almost all of my 16 GB ram and GPU shows a big lag spikes. Dunno what happened, but I'm using 1.16.1 version of the game, all my mods are updated, checked almost everyone of them and it isn't an issue with mods. When I generated totally new world ram usage went down quite drastically. I have an i5 processor so it rather shouldn't happen.

  7. I checked and during checking found a weird fact - with the same list of mods completely new world takes about 7 GB of my RAM and my old, generated pre 1.16 takes about 11 GB. Tried a few times and every time effect was the same. How it is possible? xD

  8. Hello

Not sure if I should report it here or on github but with 1.16.1 version of the game vintagestory is taking more than 12 GB of my 16 GB RAM on low settings and imho this isn't right situation. Have mods, will list them here if this is correct lace to report this :) My operating system is linux btw.

  9. Hello I have also question about a grass color only slightly different kind - is it supposed to look in May like a very sunburned lawn? xD Because in my first world it has a very beautiful green color almost from the start but in next ones it starts with a sunburn and stays that way (generated a few in newest version of the game and played one until 21 of May or something like that and grass still not improved). For most current world I choosed spawn in warm climate, not temperate one, hoping it will help but get in return even more yellow grass than before and I feel kinda lost. In nature usually plant world in May is in bloom and rather green so it is kinda confusing.

  10. I have linux (debian) and lags are even worse than before - since yesterday when I installed new version my game twice completely froze during knapping and I needed to force restart my PC because of this froze. With previous stable version this didn't happened even once. I have 16 GB RAM with decent graphic card and processor so this is really weird. Pity because otherwise game is really beautiful and enjoyable. Will try to change some settings but with my PC specs it rather should work without it :/

    EDIT

Tried everything I could think about but game frozed completely three more times, every time in the same moment - when I tried to knap the last bit of flint needed to change piece of it into knife. Needed to downgrade, can't play on this new version xD
