unsure whether i'm the only one with this issue, but on my pre7 server I can't knap granite with this mod, since it'll just aim instead

Changing sod roofs to require logs instead of boards to make it an early game alternative to thatched roofs which are technically possible before bronze age, but only really become feasible for larger constructions once you get access to a scythe.

It would also fit into them not needing complex technologies irl, being possible with just an axe or adze

Already suggested it in the discord, turning the cow skulls you can find in deserts into wearable headgear. Could count as basic armour, or just be cosmetic.

Something players can pass, but animals (wild or domesticated) can not.
Layer of sticks already has the basic look of it and could likely somewhat easily be repurposed.
