  1. Since a major part of this game is the industrial aspect perhaps introducing a way to use steam would be an improvement instead of being reliant solely upon the wind.

Я не уверен, что вы имеете в виду. Извиняюсь, если что-то из этого не имеет смысла, я использую Google Translate.

I haven't made the proper equipment to try it yet, but if the handbook is to be trusted, ale, wine, cider, and mead are already in the game! At least some of those can be further distilled into stronger alcohols like the brandy you mentioned.

I noticed that after posting this.

  4. I noticed the recent addition of Brandy to 1.16.
I assume you all have already thought about making other types of alcohol available to craft. but just in case. Since grains are already in the game it would be easy to use them to make Beer, or sake. Honey could be used to make mead. Using the beer you could distil it to make whiskey. Maybe if sources of sugar or molasses comes around it would be simple to make rum.

Alright, well I tried that but it did not work.

Well, I feel like an idiot. Turns out when the chisel is combined with a stick it loses the ability to break down metal pieces. Whether this is a bug I am not aware, but my problems are solved for the time being.

Not a bug. Any finished metal piece - be it a tool head or a bunch of scales - must first be placed with a chisel in the crafting grid to turn them into smeltable chunks. This is a new thing with version 1.15.

Alright, well I tried that but it did not work.

  7. I managed to get some bronze scales from bony soil. It says in the tooltips that it can be smelted down into 1 bronze ingot. I figure it would be a decent way to get a bronze pickaxe and so try to put it in a crucible. It does not go into the crucible. I figure I would try to put it in the firepit directly but it says it needs to be in a crucible to smelt down.
I also tried the same process with some copper lamellar and ended up with the same result.

I figured this is a bug since I am doing what the game says, and yet am getting no results, but if I am doing something wrong please let me know what it is I am doing wrong.
