Much like mode selection with the Prospecting Pick (default input = F), this could open a mode selection window when on an open toolbar slot. Modes - Hand Gathering Mode This would be default, would function the same as an open hand slot now. - Pickup Mode Allows picking blocks up that aren't natural or part of world generation, or by some other set of conditions, such as if it was placed by a player. Breaking construction blocks to get them back doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you are breaking it into its original components (with lost materials) for reconstruction. - Rotate Mode Allows wrench rotation mechanics by hand. The wrench in its current state feels more like a tool from creative mode. I can't think of anything I could rotate with a wrench that I couldn't rotate with my hands, other than a bolt or similar objects. Using the wrench in the crafting grid for advanced tech makes perfect sense, however. There are countless RP ideas that could be added to this menu, such as an emote mode, I just wanted to focus on core functionality to get the idea out there.
