Id personally like to see a more "primitive" form of steel. Something that's probably only as strong as meteoric iron. Ideally a less complex and cheaper Multi-Block structure purely for heating a crucible to melt Iron and pouring that in a certain ratio to containers with charcoal. Basically one of the methods ancient Rome used to get "steel", though again this steel was pretty weak compared to the more sophisticated processes but it would still be nice to have a more gradual transition to full on steel. Going from a basic Bloomery to full on Steel the next step is pretty wild as it currently is lmao
