I found it out. Apparently, the default setting for Dynamic Mold Units is set to false most of the time. To fix it, First go to the Vintage Story Data folder, then go to the ModConfig folder and open up the SmithingPlus File. From there, scroll down to find the Dynamic Mold Units line. If it's set to "false", type in "true". Not being able to remove the casted tool heads means that the Dynamic Mold Units setting is true for either the Client or the Server, one says true, the other says false and they conflict with each other.
