I've never seen the moon either, in fact, I've come here looking for answers and found none. I'm also on a Mac, and I just updated to 1.21, and I couldn't see it in 1.20 either. I experience the darkness of lunar eclipses, but I can't see the moon in front of the sun. I also can't see the gears in temporal storms or standing in rifts. my friend played with me, on my world, and could see the moon and the gears, from a windows os. might be a Mac thing, which is quite sad!
