Bumping this old thread. In the early iron age, I kinda went crazy hunting for meteors because they were much easier to deal with than refining iron blooms. Now, I'm well into the steel age and have an absurdly large pile of meteoric iron collecting dust in a corner of my workshop. Would be nice to be able to convert meteoric iron into steel via the same process as regular iron is converted into steel. No fancy new ingots with better stats than regular steel, I just want to be rid of the useless pile. Everything I've been able to find so far in the modding community is about being able to use meteoric iron in the copper age, which is fine, but it seems like that is a path that has been well-trodden. Figured I would check if such a mod already exists before I just convert all my ingots into shiny lanterns or a decorative suit of plate armor.
