Looks like you increased the field of view way too much.

I recommend not touching that slider at all and leaving it at the default value unless you specifically want what it does. It's not a "higher is better" deal. Some people use it to reduce motion sickness, but apparently it has the opposite effect on you.

The wiki recommend 1024, I tried going back to 64 it still stuck on that stretching. What settings should I have? Because at this point the way it looks I can't play it.

  2. I spent numerous hours on chiseled curved pipe for a  pot bell stove and few items in a world I want to delete. Is there a way to transfer this object easily? Or perhaps I need to ask is there a specific way to create back ups for specific shapes without knowing coding, etc?

I am going to start making really complex objects but I find I want to start worlds over whole lot and this means all I have to start over and I don't want to every time if I start making more complicated decorative objects like I got plans for decorative food, furniture, plants and art.

  3. I just added mods and now I am thinking I am going to have remove them. If I need to how do I do that?

My game is acting like I am stuck on clip on all the time even when its off and seems to be stretched outed thus making me a bit motion sick.

My FPS messages in setting are confusing me on side it says 65 to 75 on average but the other is much lower.

The other side sorry I don't remember the correct name on it. But anyone who seen this screen probably will know what I am referring too.

None of it makes sense to me. Either way anyone know how to set up graphic settings? I read the wiki but my brain isn't getting it at the moment.

I am sorry if this is wrong section to post this question but I thought maybe I get faster answer here.

Perhaps using a knife on a carrot via crafting table to crate it.

Also speaking of carrot cake I was thinking of this: (and yes I do hope to see potatoes in game)

    image.thumb.png.e14c90c89970983ff40007635b4d4936.png

That reminds me of what in my area call a Shepard pie. The crust isn't always included top or bottom layer is mash potatoes, first or second layer toped with veggie-carrot slices, corn/meat/gravy mixture and topped with cheddar cheese. I am not a fan of blue cheese in or out of the game but I always thought it should crumble for salad or pasta topping or salad dressing.

This does not affect your hunger rate, only the growth rate. Your crops and berry bushes will not mature, and you will continue to get hungry. If you want to reduce the amount of hunger per in-game day, you have to increase time. Say /time speed 120. That would make crops grow twice as fast, but since your hunger rate is real, in-life time, you will soon have way too much food.

Or at least that used to be how it worked...

That doesn't make sense to me especially if my hunger is set to 25 percent. I noticed in the world I was playing after I added this mod my hunger was a 120 percent, and that confused me. I didn't remember what it was before. Right now I like this mod for variety of stuff I can mess around with, graphic part of it. Trying to get inspired to chisel my own decorative food related items i.e sandwiches, cakes, old fashion toaster example https://www.hagley.org/librarynews/history-making-toast but the one I am looking for is one you sit near flame could toast and roast.  And  stuff for elaborate kitchens, more plants, etc.

I don't really want to be hungry and I don't know how the coding or modding works so thats why I posted about what I noticed.

Also I noticed some mods change how I normally interact with the game without mods, example Carrycapacity. I started having issues with labeled crates, with shift key and shortcut keys briefly started acting weird like they were interfering with the vanilla shift keys and I couldn't get the game to recognize shortcut keys.

So I assumed something similar was happening with this mod and my game settings but I wasn't sure so I asked.

  6. There are commands to stop time or freeze food decay to zero, I use it often personally but I doubt they do it on multiplayer or those who want rough and hard survival play through.

I am currently building my own world with the only cave like structures places I have my home or workspaces in.

I like the controls that go with single player. I am chronically ill and exhausted and I don't enjoy the stress of harder version personally.

I remember watching last year Mischief of Mice on youtube playing this game on server, they get busy go off for few days and all their food spoiled because literally a year had passed. I never liked that part of the game even personally even when it was Minecraft mod.

  7. I panned literally for days got more copper, maybe enough silver or gold for one ingot but it was easier on me in my personal situation but I can see if you're the player that wants to do lot of stuff it would be boring.

I personally like the relaxing and creative part of the game.

And until they change how food decay works I won't be playing multiplayer especially very crowded one or any that have more then few people. Plus I don't know if resources respawn the same in single player because when I played Terrafirmacraft in multiplayer once a resource was used up, there was no more.

I don't know if resources work the same or if you have to travel farther and farther to find resources. Its not really my thing personally. I wander into cave and saw several spooky yellow bugs that I forgot name of and it bothered me even though my game settings are they can't attack me.

But everyone has their own way of enjoying games and virtual game worlds.

  8. Panning sand and gravel(not muddy sand, muddy sand is useless right now) is a way to get resources like copper, flint, silver, gold and other stuff. It's slow. Boney soil gives good stuff too. I find it a relaxing activity to do when I want to be in my worlds but don't want to build, explore or chisel. It's also why I keep building a panning bathtubs in my worlds;) Maybe its boring activity and works different in other settings but I like doing it and tend to do it when I am watching videos or listening to music to relax.

  9. I got no clue where to post this. Wiki hasn't been entirely helpful but I thought I post some images and start a discussion about anyone else's experience with this feature.

Please post experiences or whatever might be useful.

Here is few screenshots, I got no clue what I am doing or how to do what I want it to do. What I want to do is create my own world with islands, mountains, etc.

I am trying to figure out how to do this, but at this point I am pretty clueless.

At least it didn't destroy my basement and place hundreds of copper lanterns like it did before. I don't have screen shot about that though.

With the water its asking me to do something I don't understand.

With lava it says I can't or I need to disable something for lava to be placed

No. Expanded Foods does not increase hunger at all, and peanuts can decay even if you don't have this installed. 0 rot should freeze the decay timers on everything from this mod.

Thanks then I am not sure why hunger is going up for me when I am 90% in creative and been stuck on /time speed 0 from day 1 on May 1, at 8:08 am for days building my house and chiseling my kitchen.  Sometimes I pan boney soil when I need a break, that hits my hunger hard.

I love your food design but reading about the decay and all I started stressing out which is stupid because I am in creative all the time and I can make food appear at will. Ugh lol

Sorry to bother you. Thanks for answering.

I am new still trying to figure out things I just started and just started using mods and there has been slight difference which shouldn't really matter since I am virtually a time lord stuck in zero  VS time right now chiseling stuff.

But I can drag out your dumplings if I need too. I like looking at new things to eat mainly for the artistic reasons.

One weird thing I noticed since I downloaded mods though and updated is I have no visible flames in firepit. I got no clue why or how that happen or what I should do anything about it.

  11.  I recently got this mod and I am trying to figure it out. I have one question though about it. I tend to play more on peaceful settings, 35 hp,  90 percent creative  and tad bit of survival with the lowest setting for hunger and food decay.  But I noticed adding this mod has changed my hp even lowered it. increased hunger and increased food decay. Peanuts and honey before had no decay. now do. Food that lasted longer with 25 percent decay now are much higher. Is this intended that you wanted to change people's settings like this? Because I don't like the feature. Would this mod even recognize if I found the world command for 0 rot?

  12. I noticed after I posted this that some of my crates with signs wouldn't let me write on them but others it would. I don't remember the exact error message so who knows. I may have mess up too.

I am not sure how to manage this or if its a bug or glitch with certain mods like carry capacity was interfering with interactions with crates and other usual shift key interactions.

Weird thing is sometimes certain keys work other times not. Like shift key working to write on some crates and other times not.

And then like recently my G key to sit didn't work and I thought it was glitch but the problem was I was stuck on fly, can't sit while flying. LOL

  13. I just ran into this but truthfully I am not sure if its a mod or specific crate, but the only age crates I can write are the ones that have blank signs I have to hit the shift key. I didn't try it with charcoal though, just black coal. And it doesn't write, it just shows the object inside crate.

  14. I am trying to do new panning/pit kiln area with fancy chiseled area. It's will have pot and tools in gold, and top part will have golden grill.

Underneath the detailed areas is light blocks which look really cool with glowing and light patterns.

The problem I am running into is I removed a chunk of blocks for light blocks to be underneath and re-stitching the blocks has been getting really annoying.

Is there more efficient way to do more complex chisels that someone could give me advise on? A video? Also I noticed I am only able to add 2 colored blocks not a third. Initially I thought I do as many colors as I can and in lower layer do different chiseled colored light blocks for more detail but the black and gold area is such a hassle I am starting to get frustrated.

Here is what I have done so far.

Imgur links aren't working, so here is the images. This is WIP, not done.

BTW does light blocks travel through chisel blocks? Its seems too but it might be just my computer. The reflections are really cool in game but still having vision problems without the lights so that's why I got all white light blocks. The white blocks will be covered or removed as project is completed.

  15. I wish there was away to have world recognize underground like lower areas to either form heat via lava, or ice from water freezing due to lack of light or at least small enclosure recognizing the level of ice or snow as colder than the surface area.

I am not sure if this would be away to make a cold room though. Anyone test this already?

Edit: Zeeka has fridge that uses ice that suppose to work but I am using currently 1.6.3 and mod is for 1.6.0. So I guess someone has figured out how to get storage to stay cold but I can't figure out how to go back to that version.

  16. I wonder if wind blowing mechanism is more about something similar I see in modded Minecraft all the time but never understood it that is related more to do with texture appearance. I got no clue how it works though. It doesn't make sense that something would move indoors though.

I do wish I knew example the code to give crates or barrels not to lose contents if broken or other key recipe functions to work like the handbook or wiki says they would all the time.

  17.  Actually I have literally no to few controls over the bowls when I spawn them in but I realize some bowls get up to 11 liters in them if I reclick and collect but I have done it every which way and I still can't figure out jam. I did figure out how to get fruit in porridge now. I am just tired of starving as I am spending tons of time chiseling so I started  trying to under food mechanism by spawning in various ingredients to make food.

I figure maybe pineapples in VS aren't meant to have recipe in crockpot after many failed attempts. I am just messing with game mechanics in whatever way I can in both modes. One thing I learned is how lose a whole lot of ingredients. Like barrels of honey seal don't open and breaking them makes the honey vanish.

Maybe I am clueless but I have done exactly what can with whatever abilities my newbie fingers and brain can to make jam and have utterly failed. If I grew these fruits and explored the world to find them in only survival to totally lose items in a glitch personally I would be pissed.
