But I am messing around not in hard core, has to be hard way with this game and I found few glitches that puzzled me. Like pie, I keep getting messages cannot be placed.

And then there is this one with jam and porridge. I will post a example, btw I have lost lots of honey this way. If I had been doing this with endless hours in survival gather honey I would most likely rage quit.

Tell me what you think of this? For me fire is on and burning but its cold. No recipe is being recognized. I would be furious if I spent endless days gathering pineapples in some unknown location to grow more of them only to  lose them because they can't be cooked or made into jelly. Alpha, beta or whatever. BTW the grain recipe it shows in handbook I tried it, the other attempt was putting 4 in first 2 categories. Once I relog items will most like be lost.

Still experimenting, I had some issues. Not exactly sure yet how to turn water on off, currently I got block between 2 trapdoors. No fire yet though. Does anyone know if the heat from travel pit travel up? I am hoping for hot tub, but I am also hoping not to become soup.

I am not coder, I don't posses the brain for that type of thing. I tried to learn blender I was awful at it. And worst part was dealing with modded Minecraft without Curse, because prior to that I never could find the mod folder for anything.

I wish there was equivalent to that.

I don't use discord have had issues with it. Github won't let me in or use it for some odd reason.

I recently joined and was trying to explore the tailor profession but I realized I couldn't find much on it. It started making me daydream about stuff. There this game called Hokkio Life that has artist and building bench but when I played it sorta was iffy.

In my fantasy we have a Vintage Story version of material knapping and chiseling  for more than clay, stone and wood. If someone could inform me in how to post images I could draw out the designs and recipes to have visual account of my fantasy mod better. Do I need a link or what I can post here?

Like a working pantry room could be turned into small frozen cave thus becoming a walk in freezer with food time freeze/flash freezing shelf, insulated door and coat to go inside because the temperature is below 0.

Indoor spaces be it bathroom aka panning room could be warm like a jacuzzi. Trying right now how to build a old fashion clawfoot tub with fire underneath for panning if nothing else for rpg purposes.

Greenhouse could have special misting and temperature controls based on plant or fruit tree.

Update I created another world and I could eat and heal. I will test to see how long food kicks in though when I am in creative. I wish I knew why the food bar dropped though while in creative, maybe it had to do switching game modes. But I am not sure I don't think I had when it started.

Yeah I figured out that it was shift right click issue after I posted that. I switched to survival now, injured self not knowing how to use ladders and forgetting I can't fly on that mode, but I still can't eat or heal though. No clue what's going on wrong. I select food right click nothing happens.  In my museum creative world food bar doesn't go back up. Should I kill myself with a creative gift of a death cap mushroom or what?

I am asking because its happening to me. I intentionally set up stuff for creative, lowest conflict settings possible for exploration world, because I don't want to fight or deal with rift and I just want to explore assets and build  a asset museum.

I was panning and forgot I set time speed to 0 when it occurred with my food bar. It continues to drop regardless if I am in survival or creative mode.

Yes I was in creative when it started because my panning tool would stay in inventory even when I placed it down and e showed every item and I can fly.

I have done exactly the whole right click to eat, nothing happens with majority of food I have attempted. How I can get food if food not working for me? I already put numerous hours and I don't want to delete and start over truthfully. My other creative world I haven't experienced the food bar dropping.

I sometimes I switch to survival because I notice there was certain things I can't get to work in creative. I recently got pretty decent computer with RTX 3080 video card and 16 gb of ram, more than I ever had before or use to using but I swear sometimes it feels like there is memory link when I had a potato computer.

Example armor stand I just placed I can't break or remove nor can I put armor on for display purposes.

I really like Vintage Storage mode and exploring it via creative mode.

I have temporal rifts, stability off but where I have been building is says its high rift activity and my green bar I assume health is going down. I went to survival mode because I can't eat in creative and I am struggling to get right button to eat and health still hasn't went up. Anyone have any pointers or explanations how to fix this?

Thanks for advise and help. I am not sure if me or the shortcuts just not working I will try again. I am on creative and my settings are easy, map on.

I just got this game after following it for numerous years. In all the videos I seen except those who have world map and ability to mark way points for new locations off I always see map. In the version I downloaded I see the coordinates but no world map and I am bit confused why this and how to set up way points. I am in creative right now, so its not setting issue.

Can someone help me?

I just got the game last night after following the game for numerous years and I am having similar issues. I really wish I could resize the screen so I could look up stuff I need in game, luckily I have another computer and screen but it sucks that only screen that is working is full screen.

Edit: I figured out how to reduce the screen size its  in settings/graphics. I unclicked "full screen" so its smaller now. Maybe this will help you?
