also got the same issue, tho mine has gotten worst. all vanilla blocks are now black on join only thing that work is to reload textures alt+F2 is faster than the command

got some news for you @Taart you'll need to allow "Vintage story Standalone Server" through your PC's Firewall i thought it was there by default due to the numerous Vintage Story app that were allowed on mine but they changed the app name for the server app for that you go into your settings > Firewall & Network protection > Allow an app through firewall >change settings > allow another app hope this helps you like it did for me btw you dont need upnp, its off on my router
