  1. what abt the attachment limit ? Does it ever grow ? Do I need to keep deleting stuff to add photos to my posts ?
  2. I see.I have no use for it but it looks cool.
  3. Often times when I write something,I stop, think about whatever is related and forget what I wrote so final result would be a mess unless I remember to re read it before sending it.
  4. The thing is I do not have a windmill,I think its a bit bs that we need a magical hammer to fix up iron blooms,+ I do not have a windmill so probably that work item going to sit in a chest for a loooooong time.Especially since winter is at door and weather is already avaraging around 0 c.
  5. how do u have all those links under ur every post.It looks embeded rather then u copy paste each time. How did u do it ?
  6. I like this games blacksmitting. Its not the exact type I would enjoy as a immersive blacksmitting but as a game smitting is not the main focus it is pretty immersive still. My problem is unusable parts u get when u mess things up.I do not get at the first place how a lot of bits are goes to abyss when they r a excess to blueprint while smitting, but sometimes there is no excess and u get a result that is work item and u cannot do anything with it. This didnt happen much to me,only thrice I think.I watched tutorials and practice helped me a lot but sometimes it doesnt realy matter now does it.Currently I have one iron chain I tried to do with a single bar,I was processing bloom and right after making tools. It looked efficient and I loved it.But I guess one ingot wasnt enough for a chain so it is left behind till new processing. My main issue was,as I said unusable item was unfinished iron ingot. There was simply no more bit was left and I relocated each and everyone of them without destroying any and it wasnt enough. I cannot chisel it and get bits.I assume I need to get a another unfinished ingot to sort of salvage one in price of two.If I had those excess bits as back up rather then them going into nothingness this wouldnt be a problem.I think this shouldnt be a thing.Either there should be no chance of having non useful work items unless there is a user error or we should have a acces to those bits.Even being able to process them without turning them into full ingots to tools would make em salvagable but as is I dont like how it works.
  7. I hope they make a kind where it is per world.Like not just start any save, world etc with this modlist but also be able to choose and save a spesific modlist for a save in a way that u dont need to go back and between modlists to change worlds.
  8. How is this happens exactly ? Like does vs saves a modlist for user to enter a server and only then activate them or do they stay active even in single player worlds ? Do they turn on and off according to a sittuation ? Some games have playsets, like paradox games has them and I think they r neat.Letting player choose a modlist to use for a playsession rather then turn on and off them manually each time but I havent see something similiar in this game.
  9. Are yall laughing the first part ?
  10. At first, before even installing the game I had an idea.I would make a village,a settlement. With all the native elements of the biome I am in and slowly build a culture.Make churces, statues etc.. But the moment I got into the game I forgot all of it.I was focused on surviving and leaving my miserable only hunter gatherer life with no proper base of operations. Currently my eyes are at the iron, steel is fine and all but it looks like a luxury and far far away.I already am in bronze age,I started to prepare leather too so I want to build a full plate armor and kill every bear ever has wronged me,fighting face to face. After all that probably I would,as you say become more focused on rather novelties.Probably I will erect a statue of me standing on a bear corpse because it is the main enemy of the biome I am in,after I start slaughtering them with confidence of course.
  11. Yeah it seems I can change it on a running save,as in 12 20 and 30.I am not planning on changing it for the first year but I may do it 20 in close future.Tho idk,as in other voxel based game people seems to rather not name it at some point there is little left for game to give u purpose so I dont know what would I do if I feel too accomplished and just doing same tasks over and over again. World was feeling empty so I installed the village mod.Maybe that will give me purpose to keep going on and on for ingame years. To develop a nice town.Roads to connect far away villages too maybe idk.Online playing seems to fair better in this sense since it would feel ever developing, but I am not sure about it.My connection isnt particularly good either.
  12. I am a new player,I opened a new save to try to game out and refund it if I didnt liked it and I found myself hooked.I should have 25 hours on the game rn.I havent seen the winter yet,its start of the fall but even with 25 hrs it feels like it came too early and winter will came in a blink away.I think 30 day would feel more grounded rather then feeling fast paced as is rn. Some people said it would be easier rather then harder considering having more time to prepare for winter. I still havent experienced it but I do not see it as it should be a challange.Idk,it might be me personally but I do not like combat in games like this.Unles its dark souls, sekiro and a like, a game where sole purpose is combat then I enjoy it.When a game allows me to build and prosper I do not care for the rest and I see the winter in that way.As in irl winter comes and goes and it shouldnt be that different in the game too, unless u r unprepared for some reason. I do not know how much time I will sink in this save but I am guessing in my next or sort of perma world I would be intending to have 30 day months.Or idk if I can change the current saves settings I might even change my current game to 30 day cycle in the future.
  13. First of all I changed the ceiling with full blocks, nothing changed. Then I saw a chiseled wall not highlighted.I removed it and put a non chiseled one and it worked.I guess ceiling was a issue too cuz it wasnt highlighted either. Now my second story floor is still colorless everywhere in the house is green. I am glad its one less thing to worry abt. I didnt wanted to section rooms bcz I wanted to able to use all of them and I dont use just one story alone and now I am free to be in whichever.
  14. I am a new player.I know that I need a sealed enviroment to game count it as a room and I know I need it for winter.Currently I am in august and didnt wanted to get caught unprepared.Everything has been going slow but steady.I built my first proper housing and tought I was going to be done with it moment I put some glasses, but when I used debug command everywhere was red.Only place wasnt red was my cellar and I have just built it idk. My current built is 8x8+4x4 'side room' with nothing between. Its two stories and there is a basement forge connected to cellar(5x5x3).Everywhere seemed closed,I used my glasses to every window but it didnt work somehow. Now I have seen a troubleshooting note that half blocks may create problem which I used them twice.Once for the ceiling and secondly as a floor of the second story. Now is the problem wooden slabs? If so do I need to only change the ceiling or do I need to go ahead and change both of them which seems tiring.I would have been ok if slabs could become whole blocks with another but it doesnt seem to be the case. And if I chisel the whole blocks like slabs will the problem arise again ?
