once upon a time i build a hotel with a hidden cave entrance and a sky fishing spot it was amazing... love doing stuff like that for the group server, always makes it nice to hang and chill

how do i make the biomes a tad smaller i started a new game and there hasnt been any real spot id like to build my base... this might be my minecraft days kicking in but i like making bases like... well here this is a faster example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_mV8bBY2PA&t=5s , Hope this is ok to post, my base is shown in the middle of that video it was in a massive tree with a waterfall and secret tinkers tool making base under it and such, my storage system house was 100% my design and the fountain, it also had a full lava drawbridge red stone system, this is just to get an idea of what i aim for in base making but again yes i understand this isnt minecraft

i used the default one didnt change any options....ive spent so much time on this im not sure i have the mental strength to endure another run for a while haha, im guessing the colour accurate map is in the options?

another thing ive noticed... its ALWAYS RAINING where i am, i dont mind the white noise but come on does the sun even exist :P? night time is utterly pitch black and you cant see anything... why just why does it need to be that dark???? makes no sense... and these caves pits my god they are EVERYWHERE......

im so confused by this game... you guys charged $30+ but this game has such serious flaws which shouldnt be missed for example the map gen is horrible beyond belief... ive traveled for miles in all directions and its the same biome grasslands and a few trees here and there.... or am i missing something? another example would be the low amount of what i believe to be "ruins" which dont offer anything.... another would be the map.... the map is the same colour no matter where you travel meaning if you forget to mark clay or anything like this... gl finding it again :S? one of the absolute best mods for minecraft is tinkers construct and nothing in this game comes close to this greatness of a mod...dont get me wrong tho its good that you guys are trying to make a "new game" but this has to many miss points it begs the question how you guys charge $30+.... im all for supporting but this is such a let down, been playing this for 4 days and havent really enjoyed anything this game has to offer which isnt much.....sorry please help me understand if im missing something or if this actually is how it is?
