I was able to generate a treasure hunter, but this does not resolve the underlying bug that they are not spawning in the first place. Is there any information I can provide that would help in that regard? -

I created this world on 1.21, so I don't think that's the issue.

Apparently in this update you can ask other traders for the location of a treasure hunter if you give them four gears. I've asked three different traders for the location now and they've all taken my gears, but I'm neither getting an actual map item I can use nor a map marker on the color map. I've panned several tens of thousands of blocks out in the map in case it's just really far, but nothing. Are other people getting the locations for the treasure hunter to show up or are they having the same issue? I'm burning gears on this and not getting anything back.
