  1. A week ago I bought Vintage Story and played quite a bit (around 15ish hours), during that playtime I've managed to progress slowly but surely, made it to the Bronze Age, but during my entire playthrough the game was plagued with stuttering even on 32 block render distance. I've tried all of the fixes I could find on the forums and none worked. I was running a Windows 10 OS that I also debloated and was running with minimal amounts of background processes, my NVIDIA settings tuned for maximum performance, all of the gaming tweaks you'd normally do on windows, bla bla bla and none worked. What DID work was installing Nobara Linux on a spare M2 SSD I had. I saw on reddit that someone fixed their stuttering by installing linux and since I had a spare SSD i decided to try it out and it worked. I can now play the game flawlessly with a constant 165FPS on 512 render distance. My PC Specifications are: RTX 3060 Ti Ryzen 5 5600 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM 512GB Kingston KC3000 SSD If you are willing to try and have some spare time I recommend you try this and I also recommend using Nobara Linux since it's very user friendly and came with alot of things preinstalled like drivers, discord, steam, brave browser, everything worked out of the box which i heard was rare for Linux.
  2. Could you give me the exact driver version you're using and I could try that
  3. im using 566.36 which are known to be the most stable nvidia drivers for rtx 3060 ti
  4. I bought the game yesterday played for maybe 2 hours and most if it was spent troubleshooting. The problem is that the game stutters and microstutters, I played on the High preset and I've tried both lowering and increasing the render distance because 256 blocks is not enough for me, didn't help lowering nor increasing. I'm using RTSS ato monitor FPS and frametime and the frametime graph is going crazy My specs are: RTX 3060 Ti Ryzen 5 5600 G.Skill Aegis 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM 512GB M2 SSD Kingston KC3000 If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this I'd appreciate it very much because I like the game and don't want to refund it
