  1. As we've seen in the devlong posts in the new update there will be new additions to smithing such as bellows and sharpening stones. Here is my idea to go alongside it: a new type of steel, resource and progress wise it's cheaper and available earlier. With the tatara furnace being able to be built just out of fireclay. The drawbacks are simple, compared to a cementation furnace this one needs borderline constant attention to add both more iron and coal, and for the belows to be worked to keep up the temperature, alongside the tub being completely broken by the end. The result is steel that is 25% weaker compared to regular steel but still clearly much better than iron or it's meteoric variant.
  2. I'm looking to request, but mostly commission, because I do want to pay someone for their hard work. Some clothing items inspired by Ancient Yayoi culture, and optionally some trinkets or such.

    Barkcloth

I was recently thinking what other cloth material besides cotton could be added to the game, and then it hit me. Bark cloth. Since it would be very easy to get stuff to make it (trees) it may be the one fabric that requires a simplistic loom to make it, and a big amount of logs to balance it out against flax. Compared to linen it could have a slight yellow tinge if used in sails. It could also allow the player to make some simple early game clothes in the style of the last image, but those themselves are not barkcloth.
  4. If I could code at all I would take a shot at making a mod but sadly my coding skills are close to non existant.
  5. I was thinking, would stuff inspired by ancient Yayoi culture work? Something akin to freshly abandoned ruins of a culture that rose after the rot was cleansed but didn't stand the test of time. It would also add more clothes, fashion and trinkets in early game. I also kind of wish to see more cultures in game.
