  1. You'd think that a mod adding achievements to the game would be so popular there'd be tons of copies and people updating it as a open source thing, but nah Which is a shame because i feel like what im lacking as a new player is achievements, everything is done through a guide... I'd like sounds and "rewards" besides just progression lmao
  2. the mods i was interested in were not up to date and there seems to be a lot of mod conflicts, especially around animations
  3. The first one doesn't work for me, as that was already turned on. The second one works well, if it weren't for the fact it doesn't capture any audio.
  4. Figured i'd add this here, i'd love to be able to keybind the different ways to hit metal so i can smith faster, as i dont have to awkardly rotate it around then.

  5. I have been trying to stream the game on discord, but it's not working the best. Firstly, the game doesn't show up at all in fullscreen, and if you spam alt tab and get it to show up that way, it will stream a black or frozen screen. Then if you add it as a recognized game to discord, it gives you an ability to stream the game. However, the game becomes supper choppy, to the point of being sickening to play. It could be a hardware issue but i stream tarkov and that piece of shit can stream fine in fullscreen. I can finally stream it in windowed mode, but i hate playing any game in windowed, your performance sucks, you lose real estate (to the windows bar) and if you try to autohide it, it will bug out since windows is trash. So why is the game impossible to stream on discord? It shouldn't be this hard, graphically it looks like it could be a browser game with how simple it looks, yet im having so much trouble making it work so my friends can watch me play.
  6. Well no, i don't believe it to be tedius and unrewarding, just seems like it cuts off sharply at 1300-1400s tech. You make steel but you don't make machines with it. And there doesn't seem to be sailboats you can make with multiblock structures either. I don't know how to word it better, i just want there to be stuff to do at the end game, machines to build that take dozens of real life hours. Currently it seems like it advances past a little beyond what vanilla TFC does and then stops there.
  7. I got the game yesterday, played it over the night and now a little in the morning. I already watched a lore video that explains the game up to the point where the player gets in the game, and that's i guess what got me interested enough to get the game. However, the fact that there is a hard limit to progression, that your tech progression just ends at steel is... just not enough for me. I love the idea of coming from the stone age to finally make it to the modern age, but obviously that's not the goal for the game as its bound by the lore. Just, i looked at the progression in the book, and i feel like you could breeze through the game and the only thing at the end of the game is whatever lore might come from you progressing through the game. That's... not a good payoff to me personally. I am thinking about refunding, though it is only 20 bucks. I'm not hating on the game, i see why people like it, but i'm just saying how it feels like there isn't enough progression to satisfy people like me, not without mods at least and id rather stay away from mods as they become outdated so fast and can break the already fragile performance that this game has on my system.
