I got this game very recently and have started a few worlds trying to figure things out. This is my 4th world but its the only one i've spent more than a few hours in. In honor of my first real door and the ability to make copper tools here are some progress pics of my first world This is my little homestead. The rammed earth buildings were originally my home and have been repurposed into my pit kiln building. The big building is my house but it was originally meant to be my storage building I can fire 8 pits worth of clay stuff in this bad boy Here is my base of operations. Getting a little cramped so i plan on making a new house so this building can function as my storage like i originally intended. This is where I keep my bees, still under construction. I need lots of wax and honey for candles and making jam out of all those berries growing around my house. My current goals before winter are: Start growing large amounts of cattails for skeps now that i have a scythe Make as much jam as i can and keep it in the cellar Make candles and lanterns to finally replace the torches since oil lamps just arent cutting it. Im tired of drifters spawning inside Make a new larger and nicer house If I have time make a smithing building, prepare farmland for next spring, and hopefully start making my way into the bronze age This game is so awesome, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I've accomplished as an absolute beginner to this game

Made a forge, thanks for the tip. Gonna go eat hot wings and try to cope with the fact i wasted 4 hours

Currently 20 hours into my world and my main goal right now is to make a forge. My entire world is seemingly made of sandstone and andesite, is there any tips to finding different rocks? I know the rock generation is very big but im getting a little unmotivated as im about 5000 blocks away from home and havent found anything except sandstone.
