Ah, okay, thank you for inspiring optimism!

I was very excited when I saw the teaser for hippos and crocodiles, but they haven't been mentioned or hinted at in the more recent sneak peeks and devlogs for 1.22. I understand that animals take incredible effort to implement, so the developers do not want to excite us players if their feasibility is uncertain. I imagine that getting the models/textures, animations, and AI to work mechanically and aesthetically within the game requires countless hours and masterful skill. Has anyone heard anything recently about these warm-weather killers and whether they are to be included in 1.22? Or have they been scraped altogether for not fitting in the world of vintage story?
