I did some research and found out that a bunch of the ores I was trying to find either don't spawn in my area or in small/poor quantities as I was in a sandstone area. I was using the density search and thought it was chance based (likelihood that the ore spawns and not the amount of the chunk that is generated as that ore) so would dismiss any hits I got that were ridiculously low. thank you of the advise though! I have a moderate amount of quartz in my area so had a look around and dug through them, although it wasn't much I did find some gold and silver so thanks a lot for the advise and now its just about finding more or getting some iron. I'm a relatively new player with like 50 hours in the game and played several games where I've managed to get a healthy way into the copper age but can never seem to find any of the materials needed to enter the Bronze age. The pro pick shows that there aren't any ores around even though I've spent several hours traveling and systematically documenting the area and when I try to go spelunking I just get sniped by deep bowtorns. Are there any tips for finding ores or rock types, areas, etc. that I should be looking out for (as I can't make sense of the ore description on the wiki)
