  1. i would like it changed, i'm currently playing with temporal stability off, because i found out too late that my base location was in a bad spot, i was mostly exploring and rarely at my base until i got up to iron gear, and when needing to setup my farm, i was hanging around my base more and was confused as to why i was being attacked so often. the problem is that turning off temporal stability, also changes how temporal storms work, so if you turn off the temporal stability to remove the negative temporal stability around your base, you also lose these cool world events that you need to fight and survive. i love the temporal storms, i love losing temporal stability when exploring spooky story locations, but i can't have that, because i need to turn off stability or i'm almost constantly being attacked in my base when i'm trying to farm or feed animals.
  2. i guess so but i'm not wearing armor when i'm out planting seeds or chopping trees when i get snuck up on by them
  3. kind of annoying to fight these guys, i understand the stone throwing attack is there so you don't abuse terrain to beat them easy but they themselves will abuse that attack using it at point blank range and it's completely unavoidable that range meaning no matter how good you get at fighting them you always take some damage that adds up, it just makes them not fun to fight
  4. just counted up all of the plots in the current farm and it's 214 so not many more spots are needed
  5. hmm actually, it might take a while to get the seeds but 240 plots is totally doable i would need to flatten a big area for the farms but it will be fine
  6. i thought i was doing something wrong because i just could not get enough food and then i read that farming scales with the month length and realised i messed up bad. if i had set the month length to 3 days the farm would be producing food every 6 days which means i would only need a small farm to supply myself with food. but i set my months at 30 days long because i wanted realism and found out that means it takes 60 days for my plants to grow. it also means that for farming to be worth it i would need to build an absolutely massive farm capable of producing enough food for at least one meal each for those 60 days... but i'm playing with 2 friends so that farm needs to be able to produce at least 720 wheat each harvest just for all 3 of us to have enough spelt for 1 meal of hefty spelt porridge per day. that would mean our farm would need at least 240 total plots and 240 spelt seeds just to get it started since harvesting the wild ones seem to give 3 grains each, and realistically we would need double that so we can eat through the winter too. haven't had the first harvest yet but i hope the output of the farm plots also scale with the time it takes to grow them because i have no idea how to make a farm that big and get all of the seeds, and it seems like such a huge disadvantage over just setting the months unrealistically short and being able to have a small farm that produces a lot of food fast.
