Something pretty weird has happened to me. So I found the static translocator underground. In fact, I think I found two! And the cave wasn’t far from my base, so like an absolute dummy idiot, I didn’t mark it on my map. I was able to find it a second time without issue. But then I didn’t visit it again for a while. At least several days. I did a bunch of other things, foraging and growing crops and stuff. Eventually, I managed to find some of the materials required to repair it, so I went looking for it again. I couldn’t find it. I will fully admit, there’s the chance that I just keep walking right past it somehow. In fact, I’d like that to be the case. Still, I keep double and triple-checking caves, but I’ve never been able to find it again. In addition, there are some hills further to the north that I don’t recall being there before? Which leads me to believe that there may have been geological activity somehow, and it buried it. Maybe. Is this possible? Also, any tips on finding it again? Am I SOL unless I find a different one somewhere else? EDIT: it looks like I might have misinterpreted the geologic or seismic activity settings. I’ll try looking again later, but I wouldn’t mind suggestions!
