I find it greatly satisfying to take a hot work item off of the anvil and Q it into water to quickly cool the item for immediate assembly.
So when I built my current smithing structure, I made a shallow channel attached to a well with a dirt plug where I placed my molds.
I was hoping that pours could be cooled down more quickly by pulling the plug and letting water run over the molds, but I found that this did not work.
It'd be pretty nice if it did, imo. Thanks for reading.
