Having the same issue. But I've done this several times, and seemingly mods that didn't do it previously start doing it after around 4-8 hours of playtime. And I don't know why. Even mods that I KNOW shouldn't be doing that start doing it. It just seems completely random that one of my mods suddenly prevents me from picking up items and I can't be bothered going through my list. MANUALLY. and disabling every single one. Then re-enabling them one at a time, including their requirements. Only for a few hours later, the issue re-emerges AGAIN. for another mod.
Nothing crashes either, unlike with Sai3er. The game runs perfectly fine, it's just at a random point in time after some hours of playing. The ability to pick up items just, stops working.
Issue is not present when making a new world, only shows up after a duration of game time and I don't know why nor how
