I also got the collapsed chest in a collapsed chest, I haven't found anything else near by. Iv seen some people say that they can be supper deep. Can some one put me out of my misery and confirm if this is a bust of if i need to keep digging?

I wasn't sure if it always was the same. But you don't have to give more clues. I will not buy another map and will look around that area, see if i find something...

I guess you just got unlucky with the "reward" of the treasure chest. The single collapsed chest on an aged wooden slab contains the whole reward. Try buying a new map and maybe the treasure will be better this time.

Erm... the moon is the same size in all three of these images...? 🤔

These are screenshots of the moon looking huge. Sorry I did not have a picture of the moon when it is small. Usually the moon is the size of your croshair

  4. Throughout my playtime of Vintage Story I have noticed that the moons size changes from time to time. This would not be shocking if the size of the moon would alter just slightly but when it grows four times larger than usual it appears quite spectacular. I was wondering if any of you have ever noticed how the moon keeps changing it's size and how big it gets. I do not believe the moon gets this close to Earth in real life so maybe this is just a nice quirk of the game.

It's a mistake to think like that. the hotbar was copied from minecraft, although the constant shifting of items from the inventory to the slots was an interface error, and remains. We need a more logical division of the available items, otherwise why mix realism and complexity with the arcade of minecraft? It is much more convenient to place items in their slots so that your hands are free to manipulate the item outside the inventory or crafting.

I also want to note that it is more pleasant for a person to manipulate tools as a selected action. It's nicer to have instant access to a weapon if you've stuffed your hotbar with junk when you're being pounded on the back by a drifter or a tool when you need to refocus.
Attention is lost when you constantly switch to inventory and back, trying to get out of the uncomfortable interface. Stored items MUST also have their own convenient section.

In minecraft, the minus of the interface is easily balanced by the convenience and speed of working with the outside world. And in a vintage story, the world works differently.

9 hotbar slots is plenty for all your most important tools / items.
