been playing this game for over 6 months straight and got friends playing it and I'm in love with this game and so are my friends. coming back for more so others can play with us this game is amazing.

I and my 3 friends decided to lay our hands on this game and try it out (10-hour refund window was very convincing to give it a shot).
Because only 3 of us could afford it, we decided to buy a Family Pack that way we could give an extra copy to our broke friend (we all know who, and that's enough, lol).

Since then, the game has been amazing, everything is interesting and fun to do.
The thing I like the least is the 3x3 crafting grid, which is basically taken straight out of Minecraft, but I myself have no idea how it could be replaced with all that it offers.
Either way, the game is totally worth it.
For another comparison, it's similar to Valheim but without the tedious grind that takes 12 hours of your life to achieve anything. 

As a bonus enjoy this pretty landscape.

Accidentally found Vintage Story while binge watching minecraft mods video, and fell in love with the advancement progress! In minecraft there is so much can be done at any time but I ended up lost on what to do next and clueless.

But in Vintage Story progression is very clear! (LOVE THE HANDBOOK) And I don't need 200 mods to make the game more fun. This is the first time I really enjoy a Vanilla game for a long while, the basic mechanic is very engaging.

I bought family pack, one for my bro, one for my boyfriend and I will give one to random stranger! Totally worth it! This game is amazing!

Loving it a little bit to much, I am abandoning my real life scheduling...

I was convinced to buy this game by an influx of Vintage Story videos a few months back, it seemed fun and it lived to its standard. Though sometimes it can get tedious and it might burn yourself out of the game, I see myself coming back every few weeks and sinking another dozen hours or so onto my world. I do regret buying the family pack since my friends refuse to play it.

If you're thinking of buying the family pack, think of who will enjoy a game with some rather long but engaging progression, otherwise save yourself some money and buy the single game account.

I like vintage story, and play with my siblings. We play both survival and creative, and find both to be better than in minecraft (Though I do find myself missing Axiom's creative mode building tools).

This game is fun, cool, and terrifying. 12/2 have recommended.

Sheesh, this game is a completely worthwhile purchase! Absolutely adore the game after having played it for a week straight & highly recommend that others give the game a go too! The three others I bought this game for absolutely enjoy it & have not put the game down since I gave them their keys. This is definitely replacing the other block game that has been out for years; Vintage Story is way better. 

Well optimized, beautiful graphics, smooth animations, tons of details & features, dynamic weather & time cycles, gravity, & hopefully tons of other features someday with more optional toggles too! But yes, definitely not putting this game down for quite some time & intend on buying more keys to get more people interested!

In short, which I will have to be, lest I sit here and write you a 5000 word essay:
Vintage Story has made me feel a way no game has ever. Old Tekkit Classic as a young child is the closest I can think of.
I feel more connected to my human spirit and soul than any videogame has ever accomplished. I only wish my friends felt the same way about this game as I do.

I truly, truly, cannot wait to watch this game grow.

Best game I have found in the last year. Been playing Satisfactory a lot, but this is the new time sink. I love all of the crafting mechanics, so engaging. I have started at least 15 new worlds after dying, a lot. Each run is a little better. I'm now at copper finally and the game is starting to really open up now.

I dislike wolves.

Very fun game, and this pack offers a good deal if you have 4 friends willing to play with you.

I got this game to try it out on stream with 3 friends. Within a minute i got all 4 keys i paid for with instructions. Played the game for a few hours and i'm in love with it already. Thank you devs for making such a cool and immersive experience. Worth buying

bought the pack and in a few minutes I got 4 keys for 4 game accounts. Quite a good price for a group of friends or family. Even though I only play the game with my gf and ended up gifting away 2 more keys to strangers, totally worth it. Made some people smile on the way

If you want play with friends it is a good present. We have a lot of fun on it on our server, the community is great and helpful.

Bought it for myself, my brother and two more friends.

Just to clarify how great this game is, the first session sucked us in for 18 hours 27 minutes.
I'm completely in love with this game, and I will probably get more friends to play it.

I bought the 4 pack in early 2024 and I will most likely be purchasing it again in the future.

I highly recommend this game solo, but I recommend it even more if you can play with friends. Get it twisted: sooner or later you and your whole friend group are going to buy vintage story. Buying the 4 pack saves you and your friends $23 USD, which is 1 dollar more than a single game key. It's free money. Vintage Story has been in development for nearly 9 years as of writing this review and it is STILL getting updates, with the devs stating on their About us page that they "still feel like we have barely scratched the surfaces of what is possible." and "We look forward to exploring these new avenues for many years to come!".
 

If you're worried about mods, Vintage Story modding is at the forefront of the genre. There is an official mod database, there is a 1 click install button to add mods from the database to your client, and Vintage Story has a built in mod manager. If you join a 1.16 or newer Vintage Story server that has mods you can click to install all of them with the correct configurations instantly. There is an official wiki with a section dedicated to modding the game which includes a tutorial on making your own mods for the game (it's actually quite simple and you should give it a try!). The game comes with 3 pre-installed mods, which is the actual game itself. The got dam base game is a mod.

This game doesn't just have a bright future. Vintage Story's present existence has already convinced my friends and I that we'd prefer to play it each year over alternatives in the same genre, and we are only playing the base game with a simple quality of life player corpse mod.

In short, you and your friends will inevitably play Vintage Story, modded or unmodded, sometime in your life. Potentially many, many times every year for the rest of your life. Buying a 4 pack will push your friends into joining you while also saving you money. i dont play games like this at all cuz my brain is the size of a walnut. but my friends all wanted to play and seemed rlly excited so i bought us the family pack cuz i love my friends and im so excited YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY  thank you for making me and my friends happy  

Vintage Story is the game I've been looking for. I've always wanted to play a survival game that's similar to Minecraft, yet very realistic. Building in this game is a masterpiece, with a tremendous amount of detail you can add to your creations. The soundtrack is a treat. I love this game and can't wait for future updates that will improve it. I wish the developers of this game all the best.

Started with two of my friends, got another friend the game with the fourth copy. Have done nothing but fall in love with this intuitive game and the fruits of team work we've had in it. It's just as chaotic as it is fun, and I loved showing off fun stuff I'd chisel as well. You'll hardly regret it.
