Window Minimizing

Since I update to 1.18.8stable today, I have been having this issue where the game is minimizing when its not the focus. This has become bothersome when I tab out to other programs, check the wiki, respond to others on discord, or click anywhere on my second screen. I was not having this issue prior to the update. I have been using the "Always on Top" option, but it has also become an issue. Any program on my main monitor become inaccessible with VS covering it. Has anybody else had this issue? Is this the new norm? Or is there a way to keep the window up while its not the focused program, and I'm just missing where the option is?

Also experiencing this, and someone reported it as a bug on the discord. Someone else responded saying this is a new limitation of the .net7 framework but I couldn't find any documentation about it. Very annoying. I've reverted to windowed mode for now.

If you check the bug thread on discord someone provided a link to a program that apparently forces the game to work as borderless full screen, which behaves as it did before 1.18.8.

Under the Interface menu in Settings, there's an option to force the game window to the top. It isn't perfect (there's usually a brief flicker when you tab away before it realizes it isn't supposed to minimize, and it makes it harder to access windows under the game window...) but it should suffice otherwise.

The problem is this prevents you from viewing anything on the same monitor as the game. This was not the behavior before 1.18.8.

I recommend using "Borderless Gaming". It's a program that makes games running in a Window become borderless. It even fills up the screen for you, so you won't have to do some manual resizing. Just remember to make sure the game isn't running in Fullscreen, though.

P.S. If the taskbar is still there after the program does it's thing, click on the Taskbar and then click back into the game. Should get rid of it.
