I started hosting a multiplay server for me and my friends. I noticed that on the server instance the game creates additional files per world.
Next to the *.vcdbs file there are also 2 files with the ending *.vcdbs-shm and *.vcdbs-wal.

Does anyone know what the purpose of those 2 files is? When doing a backup via a server command, only the *.vcdbs file gets copied into the "Backups" folder. Do I have to copy the other files manually or are they not important? And if so do I delete them when restoring a backup or do I not touch them?

Vintage Story uses SQLite for a lot of data storage if you want to do further research.

Short version: They're both temporary files and don't need to be copied. I believe they should be safe to ignore completely. But if you're taking backups manually (not via server command), make sure to include them.
