kenster1092
Title says it, but I'll explain further here. I know, it sounds pretty dumb, but I am at a dead-end with getting Vintage Story installed. Flatpak fails to download the tarball for the game with error error: Failed to install at.vintagestory.VintageStory: While downloading https://cdn.vintagestory.at/gamefiles/stable/vs_client_linux-x64_1.19.8.tar.gz: While fetching https://cdn.vintagestory.at/gamefiles/stable/vs_client_linux-x64_1.19.8.tar.gz: [60] SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK Moreover, Fedora has dropped the .NET Runtime 7 into EOL status and have removed it from Fedora 40 repos. I managed to grab just the .NET Runtime 7 .rpm from a Fedora 39 repo, but it does not come with dependencies, and I do not want to bork the install of .NET Runtime 7 and enter into dependency hell. Downloading the tarball myself to run install.sh stops with the error of lacking .NET Runtime 7. What do I do? I am admittedly not extremely knowledgeable in Linux so as to build my own packages and dependencies. I know enough to be comfortable with simple CLI commands to install/uninstall applications as needed. All responses or directs to established links will be greatly appreciated! WiredSlumber
Got the same problem after switching my distro from mint to fedora. Edit: Cert problems seem to have been fixed. Edited August 28 by WiredSlumber
