Phaenix Posted October 8, 2024 Report Posted October 8, 2024 Hello I'm a new player to this wonderful game, I'm kinda having trouble with starting the human mode. I created a world with custom parameters but instead of creating a human, it only gives me an option to create the main thing. I tried again with a the base preset and still have no human to create. Is there something I'm doing or not doing that is doing this or is it a bug?

Homo sapiens mainly refers to game mechanics, monsters will not spawn, traders and ruins don't exist, any lore content is completely absent from the game. It does not change the player character to look more human. There are two mods which let you choose a human skin colour in the character creation, both of which after a quick test still seem to be working, but that's pretty much the current extent of model customization.

I was confused after watching a couple YouTubers start their homosapien playthrough and to see their character creation come up as such but not for me I'll take a look at those mods and probably use them. I appreciate ya quick testing too! Â
