Ever play on a server, but life happens, and you have to leave the game for a week only to have no food left again? My friends and I like the rot system, but we want either an end-game solution or, preferably, one that ties rotting to the player/players using it. Would it be simple to/ would someone want to:

A) have a persistent tag be added to food when it enters a player inventory that allows it to rot only when that person(s) is on? (and if it hasn't been picked up it rots normally)

B) and/or add a container made from late-game materials like temporal gears, copper-nickel, gold, etc., that may or may not need power that would prevent rotting. Lore-wise it could be like trying to turn a temporal gear, creating a rift in time. Could reuse assets like maybe a blue-shaded chest with the sound of a storage vessel? After all, the storage vessel increases the time to rot

@Brandy_The: A great mod, but I don't want to empty the cellar into my inventory every time I log off as a ritual while still having a rot mechanic. If no one touches the food till I log back on, wouldn't it be nice to continue where you left off?

Maybe, if padlocks, when used on chests (and hopefully storage vessels could set lockable to ture,) would only have their contexts rot when the player who locked it is on! Would that be easier?
