Just started playing today, made a few worlds starting off fiddling with worldgen settings and the rivers mod til I felt satisfied. First world I got where I look around and open the map and everything checks out, I get red clay, 2 areas with native surface copper rocks, meteoric iron, a massive red clay deposit, and a trader. The gods of RNG have blessed me and this game is sick.

With an unfavorable generation, I prefer to run until I find a nice corner.
It's more dangerous but I have the satisfaction of having chosen rather than being lucky.

Why not post your seed? I've spent HOURS trying to find something decent! Simply copy and paste all you have to do is open VS then in the select world screen, click the pencil next to your world and click the button (a little paper icon) to copy your seed and then do the same for the "playstyle" settings. Then be sure to list any world gen mods you have (terra prety, plains n valleys, rivers, ores o plenty, etc). - if you do this, any of us could share this amazing world you found. Thanks!!

I'll do this when I boot up tomorrow! Only mod I'm using is Rivers. Would you need to know my worldgen parameters as well?

worldgen settings affect the end result of a world, sharing just the seed is not enough to get the same result if worldgen params were altered.

Can you let me know your settings please? I had problems with rivers.
