Diminimus Posted February 17, 2025 Report Posted February 17, 2025 (edited) The in-game button to open saves folder does not do anything for me on the steamdeck, is anyone else having this issue? i installed the game via the 'Discover' application and so far everything has worked great and I've had no issues playing singleplayer survival, However I want to upload my world save to my server but i cannot find it anywhere on the steamdeck. Does anyone know where the world save files are located on the steamdeck? FOUND IT: /home/deck/.var/app/at.vintagestory.VintageStory/config/VintagestoryData/Saves/ Edited February 17, 2025 by Diminimus solved issue 1
Diminimus Posted February 17, 2025 Author Report Posted February 17, 2025 Update: i believe it's somewhere in /home/deck/.local/share/flatpak/app/at.vintagestory.VintageStory/ You would need to have hidden files shown to get to the .local folder, but that directory has a lot of folders within it. Ive tried using Kfind to search for .vcdbs files but it doesnt turn up anything even when searching for the exact name of the save file. I don't know if the hidden files are throwing kfind off or what, but i have not had issues before with it not finding files when i know the exact name. my file name being earf.vcdbs
