Krystian W Posted May 18, 2025 Report Posted May 18, 2025 Is there a mod that effectively unlocks all recipes that are reserved only for the clothier? I've searched but everything I find doesn't work, and I can't stand this mechanic, in my opinion it ruins the game and makes it impossible to play.
FemboyDominator Posted May 18, 2025 Report Posted May 18, 2025 Just do /worldconfig classExclusiveRecipes false and then go in and out of your world. No mod needed. 4

No mod needed. I just did it but I don't know yet what recipes are in store for me. Perhaps, you could share what you've made...? Thanks!

It's mostly more refined clothing, like for exampled tailored gambeson armour (i.e. gambeson with less drawbacks due to being better fitted, I like to use it as my everyday protection since it doesn't slow you down) or reindeer herder clothes (very warm, great for the winter). The sewing kit, which is very good for fixing up your old clothes, is also normally clothier-exclusive i believe. Other than that you can craft some minor things from other classes like the Blackguard short sword, or the Malefactor's sling. Disabling class-based crafting restrictions also disables the little note in your handbook that actually lets you know a given recipe is exclusive, so it's a bit hard to tell which ones are newly available. I believe the Clockmaker's tuning spear still requires you to be a Clockmaker for it to actually function however, so keep that in mind. It's more of a display piece for other classes. 3

That is helpful.
ifoz Posted May 27, 2025 Report Posted May 27, 2025 (edited) By the way, the only things that Tailor (clothier trait) lets you do is make tailored gambeson, make 11 exclusive clothing items, and make sewing kits. You can also make a few more clothes, but these can be obtained in other ways by other classes. The sewing kit repairs clothes efficiently, but any class can repair clothes by using simple linen, no need to play as a tailor for that. [EDIT]: By the way, the warmest outfit in the game can be acquired by any class. It's a mix of Nadiyan fur stuff, prince fur, reindeer herder and barber surgeon. Edited May 27, 2025 by ifoz 1
